Mistreatment of Cancer with Excessive Chemotherapy
A young woman with cancer received chemotherapy at an oncology clinic. One of the chemotherapy drugs she was given was known to have a side effect of causing lung toxicity in some people. Despite ongoing lung problems and evidence of these side effects, alternative chemotherapy drugs that could have been used instead were not given to treat her cancer. The woman continued to be given the dangerous chemotherapy drug at an oncologist’s clinic over the course of weeks. She developed severe lung damage and scarring as a result, to the point she needed a lung transplant. Tragically, she passed away from the lung damage before she could have the transplant. The matter was handled by Mark Clore and settled for a confidential amount.
