A girl has won ¬£575k compensation after negligence by staff during her birth left her with an injury. Zahra Salim-Jaffer – now 16 years old – was born at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital in September 1994. During her birth, an emergency occurred, that is known as shoulder dystocia.
