A 55-year-old motorcyclist from Amarillo TX died after a motorcycle accident in Orangeburg, Tuesday June 7. S.C. Highway Patrol reports the collision happened around 7 p.m. Ricardo Thompson, operating a 1985 Honda motorcycle, was attempting to turn onto Belleville Road when he was struck by a southbound 1997 Dodge truck driven by 68-year-old Goler Collins. Thompson was airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C., where he was pronounced dead around 4:10 a.m. Wednesday.
